Accommodation

We offer simple comfortable rooms with facilities on the floor. The central block has a dining room, a kitchen and a veranda. In the summer you can spend the night in a tent at the campsite. The rooms can accommodate 24 people and the campsite can accommodate about 100 people.

Rafting

The main entertainment at Daraba in the spring and summer is rafting. You can order a single rafting (if you are vacationing in the Carpathians) or a rafting tour for a few days (if your purpose is solely rafting). The rafting is organized on the Black Cheremosh river. In the spring, you can raft on the Prut, the White Cheremosh or the Black Tysa rivers. It is most interesting to raft in April and May when the water is high. Towards the end of summer, rafting becomes less exciting.

There is everything you need for rafting at Daraba: a powerful base of various rafting boats (catamarans, rafts, baidarkas, kayaks), paddles, life jackets, helmets, hire of wetsuits for rafting, dressing rooms and more. The boat will be managed by an experienced instructor.

Mountain hiking

Daraba is located near the Chornohora ridge. There are many complicated and simple routes of varying lengths. From us you can climb the Pip Іvan, Smotrych, Rebra mountains, the Gadzhyna natural landmark and the Shpytsi mountain. In 30 km from Daraba, the route to the Hoverla from Zarosliak begins. There are also lower peaks from which the Chornohora ridge can be seen: Kostrycha, Krynta, Pogar and others. You can also slowly (for 1-2 hours) walk to the picturesque Globus and Zapidky meadows from where you can see the Verkhovyna and the Chornohora. Inexperienced tourists should benefit from guiding servoces in case of long (more than 3 hours) mountain hiking. Winter time

At Daraba, it is convenient to learn to ski. The distance to the nearest ski lift on the Zapidky Mount — 850 m. There is a ski lift to the red route and a small lift for beginners. Equipment hire operates, you can also ride a sled.

Distances to major ski resorts: Bukovel — 50 km, Dragobrat (Yasinia) — 60 km, Vorokhta — 28 km.

There are convenient areas for ski-tours and freeride. You can also climb the winter Pip Ivan or get trained for more difficult climbs at the Alpseminar in the Carpathians. We also have a small rental of skis for ski-tour and other equipment.

From Ivano-Frankivsk, it is better to go through Vorokhta. From Chernivtsi — through Kolomyia and Kosiv.
