The museums of Verkhovyna

While resting at the Rada Daraba camp, you will not only try kayaking, rafting, hiking, Carpathian tubs, but also get to know Hutsul culture by visiting the unique museums of Verkhovyna.

Museum of Hutsul Life and Art "At the Trembitar". They will tell you about the origins of the Hutsuls, acquaint them with their life, way of life, traditions, rituals, clothes and crafts, play and hold a master class for you on various musical instruments and will gladly meet you to the sounds of trembitas.

Museum "Gallery of Hutsul traditions and rites". This is a museum for the relaxation of the soul, which was created by a nice housewife and local researcher Paraska-Pavla Rashkovska. She will introduce you to a collection of family embroidery, tell you about folk signs, hold a master class on playing drums and winding notes and scarves.

Museum of the house-citizen of the movie "Annichka". This house-citizen, built in 1913, was chosen by the directors of the O. Dovzhenko film studio for the shooting of the film "Annichka". Both then and now, this house is a shining example of Hutsul architecture, culture and life. This is the only house from the movie that has survived to this day.
