Festival on the Dniester

Last weekend from 19th to 21th of July the creative festival «Uzvar» was on the territory of Khotyn fortress.

Group of our instructors with tourists, which took part in the Dniester tour «Five day to Khotyn» according with a tour program had an excursion through the Khotyn fortress, so they managed to were in the festival.

 There was a tent city around the fortress for a big number of the participants of festival. Besides Ukrainians there were a lot of Polish, and also Georgians.

The program of festival was very various and including: performance of ethno-, folk-, rock musicians, dancing collectives, poets, photo-art exhibition, master-class of the artistic tattoo salon «Hollywood» and bikers, master class of wood engraving, willow weaving, kitchen in the national festival style and many others. Also almost till the morning there was a concert with a performances of popular rock band «O. Torvald», «Ot Vinta», «Ті, що падають вгору» and other.

Our participants hadn’t possibility to be on the territory of the fortress during the concert, but they got a VIP-seats at he another bank of Dniester with a view on the fortress. From that place they were enjoy the music and see the interesting effects of sound-and-light show on the wall of Khotyn fortress.
