Cavern Oleksynska

In 1983 group led by V. Galaychuk, tourism instructor, opened unknow to this time cavern between rivers Nichlava and Seret.

Digging bottom of the carst chasm the speleologists got in the underground halls, where the labyrinth began to branch out. Some ways were full of water to the ceiling, some of them they managed to overcome on the inflatable boats. Preliminary examination showed that cavern strechted for many kilometres.

Honoring the the 65th anniversary of Komsomol it was called Komsomolska, but several years later it was renamed Oleksynska.

Nowadays the entrance into cave is blocked, so you can get in the cave only if you dig-out it again.
