Vacation in the Carpathians with comfort

     With the arrival of autumn, you want to wrap yourself in a blanket, make yourself hot tea and sit in a warm hut, looking at the beautiful landscape outside the window. But sitting constantly at home in one place is not always interesting, and the landscape may not be as cool as you would like. You want to go somewhere, change the location and the picture in front of your eyes, but still stay comfortable. We recommend you to  come to Rada Daraba for a vacation in the Carpathians! Rada Daraba has a very convenient location. Only 1.3 km from the main road to Verkhovyna, which allows you to easily get your car without crippling it =). Staying in our hostel is not just a comfortable holiday in the mountains, it is an opportunity to spend a few days actively, to try a lot of new and interesting things. We offer various types of services, mainly active recreation in the Carpathians.

What we can offer:

- Rafting on mountain rivers. It is mainly rafting on the Black Cheremosh, as this river is available for rafting almost all season, from March until the first frosts. In addition to rafting on Cheremosh, we can organize rafting on the river Prut, on Svicha and Mizunka, on White Cheremosh and on the Black Tisza. Whether rafting will be possible on a river depends on the water level in it. You can read more about rafting here.

- Radial trips to the mountains. In the vicinity of the estate there are many interesting and picturesque mountain routes that can be walked in one day. You can go to the Krynta meadow, where you can buy delicious Hutsul cheese during the cattle grazing season. And in clear weather from there you can see landscapes on the Chornogora Ridge. Or climb the neighboring peaks of the Kostrich ridge or other routes that our experienced guide will show you.

- Climbing to the highest peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians. It can be Pip Ivan, Hoverla, Spytsy, Rebra, Smotrych or other peaks of the Chornohora ridge.

- Cycling. There are several bicycles to rent at the campsite. You can ride half a day, all day, or go to the mountains for two days, spending the night somewhere in the meadow. Our instructors will help you choose the route that is right for you. And if necessary, will accompany you on this bike ride.

- Harvesting mushrooms and berries in the Carpathian forests. If you are not well versed in mushrooms, our instructor can go with you and help you choose the right mushrooms so that you do not get bad.

- Excursions to the Verkhovyna Museum. Verkhovyna is famous for its  number of museums that reflect the history of the region, traditions, way of life of Hutsuls.

- Horseback riding. This is a few hours of horseback riding in the Carpathian mountains.

- Trips to the ski resorts of Bukovel and Dragobrat. We spend the night in Daraba and every day we go where we want - either to Bukovel or to Dragobrat.

- Skiing and sledding on the local toboggan run, which is 10 minutes walk from our homestead. If you are not yet confident about skiing - this is a great opportunity to train! A ski instructor works on site to help you learn faster. And if skiing is not yours at all - then go sledding!

- Skitour and freeride. For confident skiers who are tired of skiing on civilian trails, we offer skitours to the mountains, skittles and freeride tours. There are good locations where you can drive on the wild slopes, and then return for the night in a warm and comfortable homestead.

- Hot Carpathian tub with herbs. After an active and busy day, what could be more enjoyable than steaming in a hot tub? It will help you relax, remove cramps from your muscles and fall asleep soundly in a dry, warm bed.

     As you can see, holidays in the Carpathians can be very diverse! This type of recreation, with accommodation in the estate, is suitable not only for independent tourists, but also for tourists with children.
