Yuvileyna covern

In 1844 the archeologist Kirkor in his book «Walk through Podillya» wrote about the cave near Sapogiv village, over Tsyhanka river. In the same year Balynsky and Lypynsky wrote about the cave in Sapogiv in the book «Ancient Poland».
1911 – information about cavern in Sapogov was fixed in the work of geologist Adam Malytsky.
March 1967, the 16th expedition. The cavern near Sapogiv was found, it was named Yuvileyna (Anniversary) in honor of 50th anniversary of Soviet authority. In this expedition the topographic shooting of this cave was made at first (total length – 1120 m).
