Rafting on the Cheremosh: Carpathian cream

day 1

• meeting at the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk

(from Kyiv: train № 43K Kyiv - Ivano-Frankivsk; departure from Kyiv at 7:16 p.m., arrival to Ivano-Frankivsk at 7:02 a.m.)

• transfer to rafting camp "Tourclub", located at the upper course of the Black Cheremosh

• encamping and safety briefing

• training rafting on the rapid Dzembronya: catamaraning, kayaking, and rafting in order to drill the techniques of rowing and rescue

• rafting route: camp – the village of Dzembronya, including the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh (Dzembronya, Old Man's Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk)

• nuncheon

• developing skills of a solo kayaking on the rapid Dzembronya or rafting all main rapids of the Black Cheremosh River

• supper

• sauna (pre-booking is required)

• evening campfire

day 2

• breakfast

• rafting the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh: Dzembronya, Old Man’s Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk
  

• dinner

• hiking to the Hrynyava mountain meadows (3 – 4 hours): Mount Krynta (1350 m) and Zmiinska (1356 m)

• dinner

• excursion to Roman Kumlyk Private Museum of Ancientry, where the ancient musical instruments collection is exhibited; Roman Kumlyk tells an interesting stories about  every instrument and plays old hutsul music

• supper

• sauna (pre-booking is required)

• evening campfire

day 3

• breakfast

• hike in the mountains (8 - 10 hours) with conquering Mount Pip Ivan (2028 m): visiting old Polish observatory; you can enjoy a beautiful scenery of the whole Chornohora range including the highest peaks of Ukraine (Hoverla, 2061 m; Brebeneskul, 2035 m; Petros, 2020 m), and also Romanian Carpathians; snack in the mountains

• return to the camp

• supper

day 4

• breakfast

• rafting route: camp - the town of Verkhovyna, including the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh (Dzembronya, Old Man’s Elbow, White Mare, Huchok, Huk), 20 km

• dinner

• transfer to Ivano-Frankivsk

• on the way to Ivano-Frankivsk excursion to Yaremche Waterfall called Probiy (the Prut River), and souvenir market

• going home
