Trekking, rafting and jeeping in the Carpathians
Offered tour is based on our Carpathian rafting camp on the Black Cheremosh bank. You will stay in our tent camp with electricity, hygiene zone and sauna nearby. It's an ideal starting point for walks to the surrounding mountains, since our camp is located close to the Chornohora mountain range, Hrynyava Mountain Meadows and Kukul-Kostrycha massif. From the height of mountain meadows you can enjoy a marvelous view of the highest mountains of the Chornohora. The peaks of Pip Ivan and Smotrych are wonderful viewing platform of all neighboring mountains and even Romanian border. While trekking you will have a unique opportunity to discover everyday life of hutsul shepherds, observe the process of cheese cooking, and try just-cooked budz. Pip Ivan will open for you remnants of old Polish observatory, under the mountain you will find a picturesque Maricheika Lake. There is no necessity in carrying heavy backpack since all extra things will remain in our rafting camp. All you need to take with you is raincoat and snack. Rafting and jeeping will make your trip more exciting and interesting. Conquering Hoverla (2061 m), the highest peak of Ukraine, ends the tour.

Tour scenario:
|
|
day 1
- at 8:00 a.m. meeting at the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk
- transfer to rafting camp located in Dzembronya Village (Verkhovyna Rayon), stop in Yaremche for observing Probiy Waterfall
- breakfast, settling in tents
- hiking to Krynta Mountain (3 hours), snack
- return to the camp, supper
- sauna
day 2
- hiking to Smotrych Mountain, 1898 m (6 hours)
- visiting hutsul shepherds, trying budz and fresh milk in a hutsul hut on the mountain meadow
- return to camp
day 3
- going by bus to the village of Shybene
- hiking to Pip Ivan, 2028 m (7 hours) by Maricheika Lake, exploring remnants of Polish observatory on the peak of Pip Ivan
day 4
- white water rafting tour on the main rapids of the Black Cheremosh River
day 5
- hiking to Kostrycha Mountain, 1512 m (6 hours), mushroom gathering, snack at the shepherds' hut (milk, cheese, etc.)
day 6
- jeeping to the Romanian border (mountain meadow of Rohy, 1500 m; 7 hours), stop at the mineral spring in Burkut, a well-known spa resort in past
- picnic on the mountain meadow
- return to the camp
day 7
- going to Zaroslyak by mini bus, hiking to the highest peak of Ukraine Hoverla, 2061 m (6 hours)
- sauna
- overnight in cottage (Vorokhta)
day 8
- shopping on the souvenir market in Yaremche, sightseeing tour in Yaremche
- going to Ivano-Frankivsk by mini-bus
