Treasures of Podillya land: Atlantyda Cave and Krystalichna Cave

• meeting at the railway station in Kamyanets-Podilsky

(from Kyiv: train №624D Kyiv – Kamyanets-Podilsky; departure from Kyiv at 08:36 p.m., arrival to Kamyanets at 08:15 a.m.)

• walking tour in Kamyents-Podilsky, a historical, archaeological, artistic and architectural treasury of Ukraine, known as “Flower on stone”. Kamyanets-Podilsky is a city-museum where merged into a single unit seven cultures; unique by its protection system, known since Roman times.

• dinner

•  Atlantyda (Atlantis) cave tour (approx. 3 hours). Its name reflects the beauty of the cave decorated with sparkly crystals, large stalactites and stalagmites, rare helictites (a delicate crystal flowers). Unfortunately, nowadays the significant part of them is damaged by the tourists.

• supper and overnight in hotel

day 2

• breakfast

• Krystalichna (Crystal) cave route (approx. 3 hours) within a non-electrified part of the cave. Krystalichna (Crystal) cave is known from the year of 1721 and its name owes to incredible by their beauty walls covered with pinnate pictures, multitude of crystals and dripstones.

• dinner

• Khotyn fortress, a place of a decisive battle in 1621 during Polish-Ottoman War, where fought in a losing battle Polish-Cossack army with prevailing quantity of Ottoman soldiers. Near the walls of the fortress Cossacks and Polish nobles (shlyakhta) under an able leadership of hetman Petro Sahaidachny gained victory.
