Carpathian party: finding snow up to Khomyak (comfort)

day 1

• meeting at the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk

(from Kyiv: train № 43K Kyiv - Ivano-Frankivsk; departure from Kyiv at 7:16 p.m., arrival to Ivano-Frankivsk at 7:02 a.m.)

• transfer to Mykulychyn

• lodging in a hutsul homestead

• dinner

• preparation for the trip, safety briefing

• training hike to the mountain range of Lisniv: Lisniv Mount (1258 m), that’s the amazing viewing platform of such peaks of Ukrainian Carpathians as Hoverla and Petros

• return to the homestead

• supper

day 2

• breakfast

• preparation for the hike, transfer to Khomyak Mount

• ascension to the mount of Khomyak (1542 m), which resembles by its form the Great Pyramid of Cheops. You can see almost all the Carpathians from the peak.

• snack in the mountains

• return to the homestead

• supper

• sauna

day 3

• breakfast

• preparation for the trek

• ascension to the mount of Kostel (Horhan Borachkivsky), 1049 m, where the highest rock of the Carpathians is located

• dinner

• transfer to Ivano-Frankivsk

(to Kyiv: train № 43L Ivano-Frankivsk – Kyiv; departure from Ivano-Frankivsk at 6:15 p.m., arrival to Kyiv at 6:23 a.m.)

NB In case of adverse weather conditions trekking to the mount of Khomyak can be replaced by trip to the mountain meadows of Khomyaky.
